A triple layer forming fabric has two independent layer integrated together by a binder yarn in the middle. Polyester triple layer forming fabrics perform a good combination of a fine paper surface and relatively coarse wear surface which results in excellent paper sheet surface and stable high life potential.
Sheet support binding weave
- Higher retention and excellent formation
- Excellent paper and board quality
- Improved runnability
Applications
- Specialty papers, writing & printing papers, tissue papers
Sheet support binding weave
- High drainage
- Excellent wear resistance
- Good stability and less elongation
Applications
- board papers, kraft papers, fluting papers, test liners
The paper sheet side has fine yarns to optimize the paper forming characteristics of the fabric. The fine mesh on top supply a better sheet support, improving formation, increasing pulp fiber retention and reducing two sideness.
Triple layer forming fabrics for paper making are woven in 16, 20 or 24 shed patterns. The paper side is woven in 1x1 plain weave pattern and made by fine polyester mono-filament to achieve excellent paper web formation and increased pulp fiber retention while the machine side is woven in 5 or 6 shaft with large diameter mono-filaments for high wear resistance, which contributes to the outstanding drainage.
